We are seeking for a reliable Field Operation Specialist to support operation in a daily basis.

!! Responsibilities Include, but not limited to: Training newly hired officers in state mandated curriculum. Required instructor certifications. SLED Basic and SLED Armed- If a candidate does not have these certifications, it is expected that the person hired for this role will be certified as soon as possible. North Carolina PPSB Officer Trainer- If a candidate does not have this certification, it is expected that the person hired will be certified as soon as possible. The Field Ops Specialist will keep up with certifications and renewals from the officer corps. All costs for this training will be paid for by GDISS. Field operations include client contact and site visits on a regular basis. Off-hour site inspections. Occasionally it is expected that the FOS will conduct after hour inspections. These may be late night or early morning visits. These visits can be discussed with the Director of Security Operations who also conducts these types of inspections. New site startups. It is expected the person in this role will participate in new site start ups as needed. This may include standing post until adequate staffing is reached, onboarding the new officers or transfers and coordinating uniform sizing and placing uniform orders. Emergency coverage or start up coverage. All managers participate, as needed in this type of coverage. An example is a large startup contract that has hours to cover that no officers are hired for initially. The managers are expected to cover shifts, as needed. Travel- occasional travel away from home is to be expected. To manage the districts/regions. Coordination with the Director of Security Operations on these trips is expected. There may be training/new officer training/certification renewals to be completed. Site inspections and observation of shift activities and client familiarization are also items to be accomplished on the remote site visits. Safety inspections, as the site is circuited, are important. Managers may also be tasked to travel to a location that is having criminal issues such as a rise in auto theft from a client parking garage. A security coverage surge may include managers traveling to that location for a short period of time. Other projects, as directed, may include preparation or editing of site post orders or other site or corporate needs. Normal work hours are 0830-1700, the normal workplace is the GDISS corporate office at 127 Tanner Road. These hours may be flexed for classes to be taught, or field activity needs. Some new hires may need a late afternoon or an evening class due to their current job. Occasional weekend work is to be expected. Assisting the Director of Operations in payroll preparation, if needed. Expense reports will be completed monthly. All purchases for company business are to be accompanied by a receipt Other assigned duties to support operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields Familiarity with security equipment Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols. Strong attention to detail H.S. Diploma or equivalent Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
