A Pineywoods is seeking a Home Health RN! A Pineywoods Home Health is family owned and operated, proudly serving East Texas for over 25 years. Qualifications and Skills:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing Current CPR certification preferred, but not required Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting preferred Experience performing heart, lung, and full physical assessments preferred Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities and Duties:
Adhere to the Texas Nursing Practice Act, Board of Nursing rules, and all applicable regulations Provide comprehensive nursing care using assessments, diagnoses, and individualized care plans Perform and document patient assessments, including OASIS Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians and care team Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures Develop and implement care plans and discharge planning Supervise and delegate care to LVNs and home health aides Conduct supervisory visits for aides at least every 14 days Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community resources Clarify and verify questionable physician orders Participate in oncall rotation Assist with staff training and orientation Maintain compliance with agency policies Perform additional duties as assigned About A Pineywoods Home Health Care Inc For over 30 years, the Pineywoods family of healthcare companies built its reputation on delivering care to tens of thousands of elderly patients across East Texas.
