We design and manufacture state-of-the-art packaging, cleaning, grading, and harvesting equipment for the 21st century. Our machines power fresh and processed fruit & vegetable operations, confection lines, and harvesters. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a customer-facing, hands-on technical role , traveling across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and service our portfolio of equipment. Key Responsibilities Travel domestically across the U.S. to assigned customer locations. Company-issued credit card, laptop, and cell phone provided . Install, set up, and commission equipment ensuring safe and efficient operations. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs (mechanical, electrical, PLC/automation where applicable). Respond to and resolve customer issues, aiming for high first-time fix rates and minimal downtime. Document travel time, work time, equipment status, customer feedback, repairs, and parts usage using digital tools / service management software. When not in the field, partner with assembly and engineering teams to deepen understanding of machine design, mechanical assemblies, and system logic. Provide customer training and support on safe, efficient use of equipment. Identify and communicate opportunities for service upgrades, parts replacement, or preventative service contracts. Ensure all work complies with safety, regulatory, and company quality standards. Skills & Experience 2+ years in field service, equipment maintenance, or machine building (industrial, agricultural, processing, or packaging preferred).

Strong mechanical aptitude:

experience with electrical systems, automation/PLC controls is a plus. Comfortable reading technical manuals, schematics, blueprints.

Proficient with computers:

basic office software, navigating network folders, using SolidWorks Viewer or similar to assist in mechanical assembly. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication & customer service skills; ability to work independently or with direction.

Physical ability:

bending, kneeling, climbing into or beneath machines, working in varied environments. Valid driver's license and clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently.
