Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician Battenfeld Cincinnati USA, a leading manufacturer of extrusion machinery located in McPherson KS, is looking for a reliable and self-driven Field Service Technician to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to break into the industry and gain valuable knowledge installing and servicing industrial machinery across all of our product lines.

Responsibilities:

Provide routine repairs, maintenance, and start up of extrusion equipment at customer's facility. Provide remote troubleshooting of our equipment to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems. In-house testing and checkout of extrusion machinery. Must be willing and able to meet national and international travel requirements.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in electronics, required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Working knowledge of ladder logic and electrical schematics required. Experience with programming, diagnostics, and installation of drives (ABB, Yaskawa, KEB, Lenze, Siemens, etc.) and PLC programming, preferred. Experience repairing industrial machinery, preferred. Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus. Knowledge of MS office applications
