Field Service Technician

Duties Perform comprehensive equipment repairs, including troubleshooting and replacing faulty components to restore optimal function Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of material handling equipment to prevent breakdowns Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues Repair or replace components such hydraulics, engines, brakes, with precision Lead on-site service calls by guiding clients through repair processes and providing expert recommendations for ongoing maintenance Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each job Requirements Proven experience as a field service technician with 3 years of experience repairing forklifts and other material handling equipment Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls efficiently Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication abilities for clear client interactions This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to apply their technical expertise to solve complex system issues.
