Field Service Technician

• Entry Level Position (San Jose) Industrial services company seeking qualified, self-starter for entry-level position.

We are looking for a self-motivated, team player, who is able to follow instructions, has a positive and professional attitude at all times, and is focused on long-term employment and growth with a fast growing company. What do we do? Our company specializes in maintaining fuel quality standards for a broad range of industries, including; Tech, Health and Safety, Municipalities, and Real Estate management. Services to our customers include; Fuel Quality inspections, Tank Inspections, Fuel Testing, Fuel Polishing and Treatment of diesel fuel to extend storability and performance. We primarily service the Greater Bay Area, but also have a base of customers in the Sacramento area, and Northern & Southern California areas. This job therefore requires some limited travel to those areas a couple of times per year, for up to a week at a time.

Responsibilities:

Perform field service work. Drive company service truck daily, Load and unload service equipment, take fuel samples and assess fuel conditions based on visual inspection of samples, Operate service equipment, fill out mobile service report forms, maintain required training and certifications, clean and maintain company vehicles and service equipment.

Required Experience:

No Experience R e quired . Must have valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record, a solid work ethic, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Mechanical background, or mechanical skills, or experience in a related field are a plus.

Training:

All training is provided. The company provides additional, on-line training for related certifications for employees.

Schedule:

This position is a 4-day/week, 10 hours/day work schedule, with 3-day weekends.

Territory:

Primarily within the Greater Bay Area. Limited out of area travel to the Sacramento Area, and Northern & Southern California areas is required.

Compensation:

Starting pay $22.00

• $25.

00/hr., with Paid vacation, Paid holidays, and Healthcare Contribution Plan, and periodic overtime also available.
