Field Service Technician

Jackson Oven Supply, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair industrial oven equipment used in the Automotive, Appliance, Lawn & Garden, and Furniture manufacturing industries. This is a travel-based technician role covering customers throughout North America. If you enjoy hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working directly with customers, this position offers long-term stability and growth. Responsibilities Travel to customer facilities across North America to service industrial ovens and related equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas-fired systems; provide technical support by phone Train customers on proper equipment operation and preventive maintenance Perform equipment run-offs at manufacturing sites to ensure performance and compliance Manage service projects, including scheduling, materials, rentals, lodging, and travel arrangements Work independently with minimal supervision Complete service reports, time sheets, and expense reports accurately and on time Prepare quotes using current parts lists and labor rates Attend company meetings, trade shows, and technical training sessions Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a positive customer-focused attitude Maintain your vehicle in good working condition Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in industrial equipment service , field service , maintenance , or mechanical/electrical troubleshooting preferred Strong communication skills for customer interaction and training Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Valid driver's license and passport required (frequent travel) Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and reaching Regular use of hands for tools, repairs, and equipment handling Close vision is required for inspections and diagnostics This job is ideal for someone who: Enjoys hands-on mechanical and electrical work Likes traveling and working in different environments Can work independently and solve problems on the spot Values long-term career stability in a specialized industry

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
