  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team.
This role involves providing exceptional service and support to our clients in various manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC), and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex systems. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our clients' equipment while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of automated assembly lines. Perform equipment preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment related issues, including diagnosing faults and implementing corrective actions. Provide technical support and training to customers. Ensure optimal performance of equipment. Collect data to improve manufacturing efficiency. Perform on-site installation and commissioning of new equipment. Perform FAT and SAT for equipment buy-off. Generate field service reports. Adhere to site safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Address customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner and maintain strong customer relationships. Performs other related duties as assigned. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to motors, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLC). Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts and components. Collaborate with clients to provide technical sales support and recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
Requirements Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree in any of the following disciplines is welcome (but not required): Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronic Engineering
Automation Engineering Technical Skills:
Strong understanding on equipment setup, installation and operation, including electrical debug and precision mechanical alignment. Ability to interpret 2D / 3D Mechanical and Electrical CAD. Proficient in hands on work and familiar with the use of hand tools, dial gauge, torque tool, multimeter, etc. Knowledge of PLC, vision inspection (Keyence, Omron, Gocator) and motion control are highly advantageous. Requirements Able to work 12 hours shift. (Night/Day) Experience with automation is an advantage. Able to cope with dynamics and high pace environment. Proactive, detail-oriented and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficient in hands on work.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to resolving customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
