Position Summary The Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing core Finance and Accounting operations, including revenue (AR), accounts payable (AP), inventory accounting, and treasury oversight (dotted-line). This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to drive process improvements across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Service teams. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and business-oriented, capable of supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to continuous improvement and scalable financial processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Revenue & Invoicing Management Oversee end-to-end revenue processes, including contract review, revenue recognition (ASC 606), invoicing, and month-end close. Ensure timely and accurate billing and actively monitor accounts receivable aging, collections, and risk exposure. Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Project Management (PM), and Service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and drive AR resolution. Perform regular reconciliations and root cause analysis on AR balances and revenue-related variances. Strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency across the revenue cycle. 2 . Inventory & Cost Accounting Manage inventory accounting processes, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, and reconciliations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory valuation, COGS, reserves, and related financial reporting. Lead month-end inventory close and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Collaborate with Supply Operations teams to improve inventory visibility, reduce aging/slow-moving inventory, and mitigate risks. Drive process improvements in inventory control and reporting. 3 . Accounts Payable & Vendor Management Oversee AP operations, including invoice processing, three-way matching (PO/receipt/invoice), payment execution, and vendor master data maintenance. Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong internal controls. Optimize AP workflows to improve efficiency, automation, and cycle times. 4 . Treasury Oversight (Dotted-line) Provide oversight and coordination for treasury activities, including cash flow monitoring, payment planning, and banking operations. Support liquidity management, working capital optimization, and intercompany funding activities. Collaborate with HQ treasury and local teams to ensure alignment with global policies and reporting requirements.. 5 . Cross-functional Collaboration & Problem Solving Act as a key finance business partner to cross-functional teams, proactively identifying issues and driving solutions across AR, AP, and inventory processes. Lead or support cross-departmental initiatives to resolve operational bottlenecks, improve data accuracy, and enhance financial transparency. Apply structured problem-solving approaches to address complex operational and financial challenges. 6 . Team Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple sites. Implement and enhance financial internal control standards aligned with global policies. Promote continuous improvement, digitalization, and standardized processes within the finance function. Provide financial support to management for decision making and risk evaluation.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate accounting or finance; with hands-on exposure to AR, AP, inventory, and operational finance. Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, or multinational companies is a plus. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and internal controls. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven ability to lead and develop a team.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Willingness to travel (domestic and international, as needed) to support business operations and cross-regional collaboration. Chinese/English bilingual preferred.
