Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Operations Finance Manager to serve as a strategic partner to field leadership across four regions (30-40 branches). This role goes far beyond reporting-your impact will come from driving accountability, improving branch performance, and influencing decisions around pricing, margin, and operational execution . This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong analytical experience (FP&A, commercial finance, or operational finance) who is ready to step into a broader leadership? influencing role. You'll help identify pain points, coach underperforming branches, and guide leaders through the trade? offs between volume and margin. Approximately 30% of the role is cyclical reporting; the remaining 70% is high? impact analysis, business partnering, and ad? hoc commercial problem? solving. Remote candidates will be considered if they can meet travel expectations. Your Responsibilities Commercial & Operational Partnership Serve as the primary finance liaison for field and regional leadership, supporting ~30-40 branches. Partner with branch managers and sales leaders to improve pricing discipline, margin performance, and operational efficiency. Identify underperforming branches, diagnose root causes, and coach leaders toward corrective action. Influence decision? making around volume vs. margin trade? offs and commercial strategy. Financial Analysis & Accountability Review branch P&Ls, identify trends, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights. Provide analytical support during monthly close and performance reviews. Evaluate project viability through ROI and capital investment analysis. Monitor key controls and coach branch teams on financial stewardship. Reporting & Strategic Support Produce accurate financial reports and performance dashboards; recommend actions based on results. Conduct market and operational research to identify trends and opportunities. Support M&A activity, including integration and financial assessment. Contribute to the annual operating plan and long? range planning. Develop automated tools and processes to increase team productivity (Power BI, Tableau, VBA, etc.). Prepare presentations for senior leadership discussions. Your Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field). Master's degree preferred. Experience 3-6 years of progressive experience in finance, commercial analysis, or operations? focused FP&A. Experience partnering with field or commercial teams strongly preferred. Prior managerial experience not required; strong senior analyst backgrounds welcome. Skills Exceptional analytical ability with strong business acumen. Ability to communicate insights clearly to non? finance partners. Strong relationship? building skills; able to influence without authority. Advanced Excel required; experience with Power BI, Tableau, VBA, Alteryx, or Power Automate is a plus. Comfortable working independently in a fast? paced, growth? oriented environment. Strong planning, prioritization, and problem? solving skills. Experience working with large datasets and financial systems. Work Environment & Travel Remote role for the right candidate; otherwise, hybrid in Daytona Beach (2 days onsite: Tue/Wed).
National travel required:
approximately 25-35% (up to 3 weeks per quarter).
