Staff Accountant

Local Accounting Firm is seeking a Staff Accountant who takes pride in their work and is serious about building a career in public accounting. What You'll Do:

Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns Assist with compilation and review engagements and prepare financial statements Work on audit engagements for governmental, nonprofit, and for-profit clients Manage multiple deadlines and projects throughout the year Work closely with a team while also taking ownership of your assignments

What We're Looking For:

Strong work ethic and attention to detail Someone who cares about doing the job right—not just getting it done Self-motivated with the ability to stay organized and meet deadlines Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting - required CPA or CPA-track preferred Public accounting experience is a plus, but not required This Position Is Not a
