Small Business Accountant

Job DescriptionJob Description McDaniel & Associates, PC is seeking a motivated individual to serve as a full-time Bookkeeper working with our Small Business department.

Responsibilities Include:

• Reconciliation of accounts including bank, credit, and loan accounts
• Recording financial transactions and/or payroll data
• Processing accounts payable in a timely manner
• Preparing payroll and sales tax returns
• Preparing monthly financial statements
• Assisting with other duties as needed to support staff accountants and managers

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

High School Diploma

• 2+ Years Experience preferred
• Experience with Accounting Software preferred (Quickbooks, Sage)
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management
