Job Description
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support and oversee key accounting functions, including general ledger activity, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role will play a critical part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data while assisting with audits and mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review general ledger (GL) journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes Perform and review account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts Maintain and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules Assist with internal and external audits, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor requests Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies Identify, research, and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances Support financial reporting and provide analysis to management Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Experience with month-end close and audit support Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with NetSuite preferred This is a temp-to-hire position so applicants should be available immediately.Pay Details:
