Corporate Accountant Metal Recycling Corporation Little Rock, AR Job Details Full-time $55,000 - $75,000 a year 18 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Public accounting Accounting software Bachelor's degree GAAP Accounting Accounting Full Job Description We're now hiring an Accountant to join our corporate team located in the Stephens Building in downtown Little Rock, AR. Accounting or Finance degree required with 2-5 years of public or corporate accounting preferred. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including health insurance, retirement and bonus potential.
Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and close process Assist in various banking functions Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Qualifications for Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-5 years of accounting/finance experience CPA preferred but not required Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with general ledger accounting software Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations Highly detail-oriented
