New Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare, review, and post accurate journal entries.
- Perform timely and detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes and coordinate external audit support.
- Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in accordance with applicable agreements.
- Support financial reporting through detailed expense analysis and timely general ledger adjustments.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Maintain and improve strong internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.
- Other duties as assigned.
