Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description We are a growing accounting consulting firm based in Arizona looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. We serve a broad, multi-industry client base and help each of them maintain clean, accurate financials - so they always have the option of audited financial statements without paying a CPA firm a premium to get there.
What You'll Do:
Maintain accurate general ledgers, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial statements for a varied portfolio of clients Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and business entities Ensure clients remain compliant with sales tax regulations across applicable jurisdictions Maintain books to an audit-ready standard at all times Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across multiple industries
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) 4+ years of accounting experience; multi-client or consulting background strongly preferred Experience across multiple industries Solid understanding of sales tax compliance Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and the full Microsoft Office Suite - must be able to work independently without training on these tools Strong professional communication skills and a client-first mindset Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a true self-starter
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
