Job Summary A growing organization in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team in a direct hire role. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, reconcile accounts, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Support cost accounting activities, budget maintenance, financial analysis, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and improve accounting systems, procedures, and financial controls.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff while collaborating with internal departments to support sound financial decision-making. Compensation and Benefits
