Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Alhambra, CA with a manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting, internal controls, reconciliations, compliance, and team leadership. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate accounting records, producing timely financial statements, supporting GAAP-compliant reporting, and supervising Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue timely financial statements, management cost reports, and periodic financial reporting packages.
• Maintain accounting records, documented policies, procedures, transaction controls, and internal financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate preparation of the corporate annual financial report and serve as a primary contact for external auditors and the corporate accounting firm.
• Perform financial analysis to support pricing decisions, operational benchmarks, reconciliations, debt payments, and covenant compliance.
• Oversee local, state, and federal reporting and tax filing requirements.
• Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel, including training, work assignments, performance feedback, and issue resolution. Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate:

  $30.00 to $32.00 per hour.

• Schedule:

  4 x 10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with Fridays off.
