Senior Accountant I Astrana Health, Inc. - 1.9 Alhambra, CA Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $90,000 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Accounting and finance experience Full Job Description Description The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting through timely month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role supports operational and management teams by preparing reports, analyzing variances, and maintaining compliance with accounting policies. The Senior Accountant will also oversee vendor-related transactions, payroll analysis, and revenue tracking.

Prepare and post journal entries (JEs). Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations. Manage vendor invoices, track payments, and resolve discrepancies with Accounts Payable. Prepare and analyze the Capitation report. Conduct payroll analysis to ensure accuracy and proper allocation. Perform expense variance analysis month-over-month, highlighting key drivers and trends. Create and issue invoices for subleases, ensuring accurate tracking of rent and CAM revenue; perform reconciliations as required. Reconcile Cash Register (Maslog) transactions with bank statements. Support ad hoc financial analysis and provide accounting insights to management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-entity environments. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting systems (Sage, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Skills Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills. Collaborative team player with ability to work independently. Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions This position follows a hybrid work structure. The office is located at 1668 S. Garfield Ave., 2nd Floor, Alhambra, CA 91801. The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $80,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
