POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the assisting the Controller in all functions of the Accounting Department including District accounting and payables, governmental reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, assist in journal entry preparation and be able to maintain and analyze cash reports and financial statements. Prepares various statistical reports for both internal and external use.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's Degree, higher college education, or equivalent work-related experience preferred.

License:

NA Experience:

3 years Acute Care Hospital experience strongly preferred. 5 years General Accounting experience. The ability to communicate effectively, problem-solving and handle confidential information is required. Strong skills with Microsoft Suite.

PAY / BENEFITS

• Estimated pay: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour based on qualifications (including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, and licensure where applicable). • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, optional supplemental life (employee, spouse, and/or child coverage), flexible spending accounts (medical and dependent care), 403b retirement with dollar for dollar match up to 5%, paid time off, and more available depending on employment status.
