E/L Accountant

Description Our client is seeking a sharp, entry-level Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with accounting or finance internship experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities:

+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing + Prepare and enter journal entries + Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts + Support month-end and year-end close activities + Perform data entry and maintain accounting records with accuracy and speed + Analyze financial data using intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) + Generate and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness + Collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies + Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + Prior accounting or finance internship experience + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) + Exposure to, and ideally hands-on experience with, accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
