As an FP&A Intern, you'll work alongside the Finance team to support forecasting, analysis, and reporting that directly informs business decisions. This role offers meaningful exposure to financial planning processes, executive level reporting, and data visualization-ideal for students looking to build a strong foundation in finance and analytics. You'll contribute to budget to actual analysis, help create executive ready presentations, and partner with the team to enhance Power BI dashboards used by leaders across the organization.

Tools & Technologies:

Power BI, Excel, Adaptive What You'll Learn & Work On Prepare financial reports and presentations for business and finance leaders Analyze variances between budget, forecast, and actual results to identify trends and insights Support the design and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and financial reports Help maintain data accuracy and integrity across financial reporting Explore and evaluate potential AI use cases within FP&A workflows Assist with ad hoc analyses and projects to support team priorities Share progress updates and deliver a final project presentation at the end of the internship Required Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field Strong interest in finance, analytics, and how data supports business decisions Able to manage priorities, work independently, and meet project timelines Clear communicator who collaborates well in a team environment Basic proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Learning Outcomes Hands on experience supporting financial reporting used by business leaders Exposure to real world FP&A tools, workflows, and decision making Mentorship and guidance from experienced finance professionals A deeper understanding of how FP&A partners with the business to drive results A completed capstone project you can showcase after the program CareDx, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer-vets/disabled, and participates in the E-Verify program. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
