🧾 Senior Accountant - Consulting Role (Robert Half Loan Staff Practice) Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Loan Staff Practice. As a full-time employee of Robert Half, you'll work as a consultant providing high-level accounting support to a dedicated client base.

This role offers the stability of full-time employment with the variety of consulting assignments. You'll support clients with advanced accounting responsibilities, assist with financial reporting and close processes, and help strengthen accounting operations across multiple industries.💼

What You'll Do:

Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare and review complex journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassificationsPerform and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesMaintain and analyze general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAPPrepare financial statements and supporting schedules for management reviewAnalyze financial results and variances, providing insights and recommendationsSupport internal and external audit requests, including preparation of audit schedules and documentationAssist with implementing and improving accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reportingSupport special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives
