San Diego's biotech industry continues to expand, creating strong demand for experienced accounting professionals who can support scaling organizations. A rapidly growing biotech company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team and assist with financial reporting, month-end close, and process improvement initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial ReportingPrepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statementsManage month-end and quarter-end close activitiesAnalyze financial results and investigate account variancesMaintain general ledger integrity and supporting documentationAssist with technical accounting research and policy implementationAudit & ComplianceSupport annual audits and financial reporting requirementsAssist with internal controls and compliance initiativesPrepare schedules and documentation for external auditorsEnsure accounting practices comply with GAAP
