An established professional services firm in Carlsbad is looking for a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and wants exposure to multiple areas of accounting.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting OperationsPrepare journal entries and account reconciliationsSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as neededAssist with month-end close and financial reporting activitiesMaintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentationMonitor account activity and resolve discrepanciesReporting & AnalysisPrepare schedules and supporting reports for management reviewAssist with annual audit preparationSupport budget tracking and variance reportingParticipate in process improvement initiatives
