We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Full Cycle Accountant / Cost Accountant to join our accounting team. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting. Duties Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Conduct detailed cost analysis to monitor production expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings within the manufacturing process Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using ERP systems such Royal 4, Deacom and Sage Perform account reconciliation procedures, including general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation, to maintain precise financial records Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support operational planning and financial stability Interpret complex financial reports, providing insights through financial report writing and analysis for management decision-making Conduct data collection for financial analysis projects and prepare detailed reports on financial concepts like debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and technical accounting principles Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience , preferably in food manufacturing, food processing, or inventory-intensive environments. Experience with cost accounting and inventory accounting required. Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting principles. Experience with ERP systems preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 , particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, reporting). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Additional Requirements This is an on-site position . Occasional business travel may be required . Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of financial and operational data.
