On-site, City of Industry, CA About Us Richwell Group, Inc. is a growing food distribution and manufacturing company with operations across California, Nevada, and Hawaii. Our affiliated companies include Maxfield Seafood, Mr. Wok Foods, Higa Foodservice, and other food industry businesses. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, accounting student, or individual looking to start a career in accounting. Position Summary The Junior Accountant will provide day-to-day accounting and administrative support to the accounting department. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) processing and vendor invoice entry. Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including customer payments and collections follow-up. Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records. Reconcile bank transactions and accounting schedules. Assist with inventory-related accounting and reporting. Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations. Prepare and maintain sales, purchasing, and operational reports. Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems. Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or current coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (Microsoft 365). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Experience with ERP systems or accounting software is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a food distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory environment is a plus.
