Qualifications Education and Experience:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- Associate's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible accounting experience, one of which involved project or grant fund accounting; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience in a public agency or educational institution is preferred.
