Job Description:
1. Financial Reporting and Ledger Management (35%) Prepare, analyze, and assemble comprehensive financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements to reflect the company's financial standing. Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger and subsidiary accounts; manage the Chart of Accounts and perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure internal record integrity. 2. Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting (25%) Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify operational trends, cost overruns, and variances. Assist management in strategic planning by developing annual budgets and performing financial forecasting to predict future business performance and profitability. Perform cost-benefit analysis of goods and services to optimize company resources. 3. Regulatory Compliance and Taxation (20%) Ensure all accounting procedures and financial reports strictly comply with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Prepare and file necessary corporate tax returns (e.g., sales tax, franchise tax) to meet state and federal regulations. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and verify the accuracy of financial records. 4. Operational Accounting and Internal Controls (20%) Oversee the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections. Process company payroll and ensure accurate remittance of payroll taxes and compliance with labor laws. Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent financial errors or fraud. Requires Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Accounting, or a closely related field.
