6-9 month contractJob DescriptionOur client is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist with accounting operations and implementation support during a financial system conversion. This role will be instrumental in helping the organization maintain accounting continuity while contributing to implementation-related efforts such as testing, data migration, reconciliation, and backfill support.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport general accounting functions, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end activitiesAssist with accounting operations during the implementationParticipate in system testing, data review, migration support, and reconciliation effortsHelp ensure financial data integrity throughout the transitionProvide backfill support to the accounting team as implementation demands shift resourcesIdentify discrepancies, assist with issue resolution, and support process documentationCollaborate with finance and project teams to promote a smooth implementation
