SSC FIAR

program at the Los Angels SFB, California Responsibilities Audit Readiness/Internal Controls Team will evaluate the current control environment across each of the SSC and PEO assessable units and lead the development, enhancement, and implementation of internal controls, including monitoring controls Audit Liaison Response Team will provide audit liaison support for DAF and SSC General Fund and Working Capital Fund, to include where DAF and SSC are a Service Provider. Team will help facilitate SSC successful response to the external auditor's requests, eg PBCs, auditor site visits and process walkthroughs, and other testing and documentation. Mission Critical Asset Valuation and Accountability Team will develop auditable methodologies for valuing General Equipment (GE) (to include Military Equipment (ME)), Internal Use Software, Real Property, Construction in Progress, Inventory, and OM&S, to include both beginning balance calculations and future/ongoing valuations. Team will help analyze and calculate valuations for each SSC Directorate and its Programs, whose valued assets are subject to GEV and MEV reporting. The contractor shall update SOPs as needed and directed by COR or government stakeholder. Qualifications Accountant 1:

Required:

Eight (8) or more years of experience in Air Force legacy financial management systems and processes; Air Force policies, systems and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property and material management; DoD and Air Force financial management policies and procedures.

Preferred:

Experience at Space Launch Deltas. Accountant 2:

Required:

Eight (8) years of accounting or financial management experience, including four (4) or more years of progressive experience in leading business management and/or financial management services projects Experience performing financial statement audits in DoD, federal agencies, or commercial Fortune 400 organizations and/or preparation of assertion packages. One of the following professional certifications preferred: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM or CDFM.

Required:

Eight (8) years of experience performing IT audits and/or FISCAM evaluations in DoD, federal agencies, or commercial Fortune 400 organizations and/or preparation of assertion packages.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
