Job Description
A growing real estate investment and property management organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close, and multi-entity accounting operations. This position will work closely with leadership and play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial information across a diverse portfolio of assets. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial data, improving processes, and taking ownership of key accounting functions.
Primary ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & General LedgerPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsManage month-end and year-end close activitiesMaintain general ledger accuracy across multiple business entitiesAnalyze financial results and investigate variancesAssist with budgeting and forecasting activitiesCompliance & Audit SupportSupport annual audits and tax preparation processesEnsure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresAssist with internal controls and process improvement initiativesPrepare supporting schedules and financial reporting packages
