This is a critical role supporting the financial health and success of active construction projects. We are looking for someone who is detail-driven, proactive, and experienced in construction accounting; someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with both finance and project teams. If you have strong job costing experience, QuickBooks expertise, and a passion for accuracy, this role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and impact. Key Responsibilities Process and manage accounts payable and receivable for construction projects Review, code, and accurately enter vendor and subcontractor invoices Perform job cost tracking and ensure proper cost allocation by project Reconcile invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and budgets Partner with Project Managers to support budget tracking and financial reporting Assist with draw packages, lien releases, and change orders Maintain well-organized, audit-ready financial records and documentation Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to resolve billing discrepancies Support month-end and year-end close processes Assist with payroll data entry and coordination Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and standard practices
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Experience in construction accounting or related field Working knowledge of job costing and construction financial processes Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred:
