Sr. Accountant

Description A growing and complex organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day to day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple business units. This role partners closely with leadership and plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision making. Key Responsibilities + Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts + Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support monthly close + Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances + Support accounts payable, receivable, and payroll oversight + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting + Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules + Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements + Assist with audits and respond to internal and external requests + Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation + Partner cross functionally to improve processes and reporting accuracy What Sets This Role Apart + Exposure to multi entity or multi department accounting + Opportunity to partner directly with leadership + Visibility into budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes + Ability to impact process improvements and reporting structure Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience + 4 plus years of accounting experience in a full cycle environment + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting + Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month end close + Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis + Experience with ERP or cloud based accounting systems preferred + Strong analytical skills with attention to detail + Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast paced environment + Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
