This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can manage close activities, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure account balances are fully supported. The position will play a key role in day-to-day accounting execution while partnering with internal teams to keep reporting timely and reliable.
Responsibilities:
Lead monthly close activities by preparing schedules, reviewing balances, and helping ensure deadlines are met accurately. Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and alignment to accounting policies. Maintain the general ledger by reviewing transactions, correcting discrepancies, and preserving data integrity. Perform account reconciliations on a regular basis and resolve outstanding variances in a timely manner. Complete bank reconciliations by comparing cash activity to financial records and investigating differences. Support financial reporting through organized documentation and clear reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather accounting details, clarify activity, and improve the accuracy of recorded results. Use ERP software to manage accounting records, process entries, and support routine financial operations. 5+ years of accounting experience, including work in a senior-level accounting capacity. Strong background in month-end close processes within a fast-paced business environment. Hands-on experience managing general ledger activity and preparing journal entries. Proven ability to perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies independently. Experience completing bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency with ERP software. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping best practices.
