Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a temporary 2 to 4 month assignment in Fresno, CA, supporting the accounting function within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with hands-on experience in accounts receivable, general ledger support, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the accounting team in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where accuracy, integrity, and problem-solving are valued. This opportunity offers steady weekday hours, exposure to corporate accounting processes, and a small potential for hire based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with accounts receivable activities, including collections, customer account support, and related follow-up tasks.
  • Support general ledger reconciliations, account analysis, and account clean-up efforts.
  • Prepare basic journal entries and assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Provide general accounting support to the finance team for reporting, documentation, and ad hoc requests.
  • Help maintain accurate accounting records while supporting deadlines and internal processes.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $26 to $28 per hour.
  • Schedule:
    8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Assignment type: Temporary contract, expected to last 2 to 4 months.
  • Small potential for hire based on performance and business needs.
