Job Description:
We're partnering with a growing, well-established company in the Union City area that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, recession-resistant business that continues to reinvest in its growth, while maintaining a collaborative, family-oriented culture. What you'll be doing: Own key aspects of the month-end close , including journal entries and account reconciliations Review financial statements and support overall financial reporting Assist with the annual audit process (external auditors) Work across multiple locations/entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting Partner with internal teams to improve processes and support day-to-day accounting operations What they're looking for: 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years as a Senior Accountant Strong experience with month-end close and reconciliations Exposure to audit processes Experience supporting multi-location environments (retail, restaurant, or similar a plus) Ability to review and analyze financials Nice to have: Sales & use tax Lease accounting Process improvements, documentation, or system implementations
