Corporate Tax Accountant, Senior Blue Shield of CA United States, California, Long Beach 3840 Kilroy Airport Way (Show on map) Jun 08, 2026 Your Role We are currently seeking a Tax Accountant, Senior. This position will report to the Tax Director and will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statement quarterly tax provision, tax projections, and tax compliance workbooks for various legal entities within the Consolidated Group. The ideal candidate must have a tax technical background, be comfortable and confident navigating through innovative and complex matters to support current tax positions, technical skills to operate the tax reporting and calculation tools, have outstanding communication and writing skills, be attentive to details, and be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working with multiple cross functional teams. The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of leadership. Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Accounting/Tax Accounting
Familiarity with Statutory accounting and insurance tax
CPA certification preferred
