Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with government-related processes. Company DescriptionITC Electronics is a distributor of electronic equipment and components specializing in sales to government agencies. We pride ourselves on operational reliability, strong financial practices, and maintaining timely payment of invoices and obligations.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Prepare journal entries and perform account allocations
- Assist with month-end close processes
- Maintain and organize the chart of accounts
- Ensure all vendor invoices are accurately entered and recorded
- Process payments, including printing checks and managing disbursements
- Manage customer invoicing, including Net 30 terms and credit card payments
- Ensure open invoices are sent and collected in a timely manner
- Review government contract requirements and submit invoices electronically
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Generate and submit required government sales reports Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Understanding of general accounting principles
- Experience with general ledger, journal entries, AP/AR, and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines What We Offer
