Senior Tax Accountant Ledgent Finance & Accounting - 4.0 Los Angeles, CA Job Details $100,000 - $150,000 a year 21 hours ago Qualifications Accounting systems Bachelor's degree GAAP Accounting firm experience QuickBooks Bachelor's degree in accounting Payroll processing Full Job Description We're seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to deliver tax compliance, planning, and accounting services for a Los Angeles based firm. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who enjoys client interaction, advisory work, and operating independently in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns Perform tax planning and consulting for client companies Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, and monthly bank reconciliations Generate financial reports using QuickBooks and related platforms Process payroll, payroll tax deposits, quarterly payroll tax filings, and annual 1099s Review and interpret financial statements and supporting documentation Reclassify expenses and prepare adjusting schedules as needed Communicate directly with clients and collaborate with internal tax and accounting teams Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2-5+ years of experience at a CPA firm (business management services a plus) CPA/CPA tracking or Enrolled Agent required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi‑entity tax filings Experience with partnership accounting and allocations Proficiency in QuickBooks; tax and CCH accounting software experience preferred Payroll processing experience (ADP or Paychex a plus) Strong organizational, analytical, and client‑communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
