Position SummaryThe Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting reporting processes, and providing data-driven insights. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, advanced Excel skills, and accounting knowledge.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close processesAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improved efficiencyAssist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting for internal and external stakeholdersPrepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentationAssist with audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and nonprofit accounting standardsDevelop and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and financial models
