This role is responsible for invoice processing, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with program and accounting requirements. Key Responsibilities for Project Accountant II Review and process invoices and encumbrances. Analyze financial activity and expenditures for the Bond Program. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies. Verify entries and supporting documentation in Proliance (PMIS). Resolve invoice integration issues between Proliance and Costpoint. Ensure bond compliance for payment requests. Reconcile financial accounts and escrow statements. Prepare journal entries, debit memos, and credit memos. Develop financial reports and support process improvements. Communicate with vendors, project teams, and campus stakeholders regarding invoices and expenditures. Assist with other accounting duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree or College Certificate (additional experience may substitute for education). Minimum 1 year of experience in invoice processing, accounts payable, or related accounting functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience with Proliance, Costpoint, or similar financial systems.
