Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant in the financial services industry, based in Corona Del Mar, California. This role involves in-depth knowledge of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and payroll management. The selected candidate will be instrumental in streamlining our accounting processes and improving our financial health.

Responsibilities:

• Handle public and private accounting duties, prioritizing small accounting firms
• Manage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee full cycle accounting, from initial transaction recording to the preparation of financial reports
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports with clear and reliable data
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for complex financial data management and analysis
• Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately
• Prepare and post journal entries and month-end close activities
• Conduct public accounting audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Maintain a high level of communication within the team and with external stakeholders
• Possess or be working towards a CPA certification for advanced accounting knowledge and skills. Requirements
• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations
• Well-versed in handling General Ledger
• Experience in making Journal Entries
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Capability to handle Month End Close
• Experience in Public Accounting Audit
• Skills in managing Payroll
• Expertise in Financial Reporting
• Proficiency in Full Cycle Accounting
