Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is heavily focused on accounting functions and requires someone who can work independently, stay organized, and maintain a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience handling full-cycle accounting responsibilities, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end processes. Additional administrative or HR-related responsibilities may be introduced over time based on business needs and candidate experience. Key Responsibilities Accounting Functions Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing Handle accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and payment tracking Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP software (Fulcrum preferred) Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Review and maintain general ledger activity and transaction accuracy Prepare internal financial reports and support management with financial data Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts Maintain organized accounting documentation and audit-ready records Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner Assist with payroll-related reporting and administrative accounting support as needed Support continuous improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls Maintain confidentiality with financial and employee information Qualifications 2+ years of accounting experience required Experience with QuickBooks required ERP system experience preferred (Fulcrum a plus) Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger functions Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Manufacturing or job shop experience is a plus Spanish fluency is a plus Work Environment & Expectations Full-time, in-office position located in Ontario, CA Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Fast-paced manufacturing office environment Candidate must be dependable, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities accurately Why Join Us Stable full-time schedule Opportunity to grow within a growing manufacturing company Hands-on role with visibility into company operations Collaborative small-team environment where your work makes a direct impact
