Job Description
We are a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Ontario, CA. With a strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, we are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role offers visibility to leadership, hands-on exposure to manufacturing accounting, and long-term growth potential.
The Staff Accountant will support the month-end close process, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment and understands cost accounting, inventory reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, inventory, fixed assets)Perform general ledger account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processesAssist with financial statement preparation and variance analysisReconcile inventory and support cost accounting functionsMaintain fixed asset schedules and depreciationAssist with audit preparation and documentation requestsSupport budgeting and forecasting processesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and system efficiencies
