Staff Accountant Oxnard, CA (On-Site) $32-$48/hr (DOE) + Growth Opportunity A growing and dynamic organization in Oxnard is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of an expanding operation. You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, and helping improve financial processes as the company continues to scale. ?? What You'll Do Accounts Payable & Receivable Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment runs Oversee Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections follow-up General Accounting Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Assist with month-end and year-end close Reporting & Compliance Support financial reporting and account analysis Maintain accurate and organized accounting records Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Collaboration & Process Improvement Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency What We're Looking For 2+ years of accounting experience with strong AP/AR exposure Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus) Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Experience with process improvements or system implementations Why Join Us?
