We are a global team with headquarters in Palo Alto, California, and an office in Seoul (Gangnam), working at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and scalable cloud systems. About the Role We are seeking a versatile Accountant to manage core accounting functions and support day-to-day business operations. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and operational efficiency. You will have a high degree of autonomy in managing your workflow and will play a critical role in supporting our internal infrastructure. This position offers a unique balance of hands-on accounting responsibilities and general business operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workday and wants to be a key contributor within a streamlined, professional team.
Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting:
Own Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and vendor management.
Payroll & Benefits:
Execute semi-monthly payroll and assist with employee benefits administration.
Monthly Close:
Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Quarterly Financial Packages:
Help prepare quarterly reporting packages.
Compliance:
Manage expense report auditing and ensure all financial records are organized and audit-ready.
Operations Support:
Support day-to-day business operations, administrative coordination, and general office management as needed.
Requirements Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance OR Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant bookkeeping/operations experience.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in accounting
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting ERP. Solid Excel skills (pivots, lookups, and data organization). Familiarity with modern tools (e.g., Gusto, Bill.com, Slack).
