Job DescriptionJob Description Senior Accountant (Contract) - Pasadena, CA $35-$44/hour DOE 2-3 Month Assignment Start ASAP We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a short-term contract assignment in Pasadena. This role will focus on supporting the accounting team through month-end close activities, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Ideal candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to jump in quickly in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support month-end close including preparation and posting of journal entries Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with account analysis, variance explanations, and general ledger maintenance Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reporting Collaborate with accounting team to meet tight deadlines Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience; Senior Accountant level preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting Solid reconciliation and general ledger experience Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Ability to work independently and start quickly in a contract environment
