QuickBooks Online About the Role This is a hands-on, detail-oriented Staff Accountant role supporting daily accounting operations, month-end close, and general ledger accuracy. The ideal candidate is disciplined, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with clear expectations and strong leadership oversight. This position is fully onsite in Placentia and best suited for someone who thrives in a structured, in-person workflow. Key Responsibilities Own general ledger maintenance , journal entries, and month-end close tasks Perform balance sheet and GL reconciliations with accuracy and consistency Manage AP processing (straightforward, low-complexity workflow) Support AR, cash postings, and routine accounting tasks as needed Maintain clean documentation and follow established accounting procedures Collaborate directly with the Accounting Manager to ensure timely, accurate reporting Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvements

This role does not involve medical billing. Qualifications 3-5+ years of hands-on accounting experience Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online Required Solid understanding of

GAAP , GL

structure, and reconciliation processes Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred (or equivalent experience) Strong attention to detail, reliability, and follow-through Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with leadership Compensation & Benefits $65,000-$75,000 base salary (DOE) Standard benefits package Stable, supportive environment with direct mentorship from an experienced accounting leader
