Staffmark is hiring a Senior Accountant in Rancho Cucamonga for someone who knows the numbers, keeps the books tight, and gets it done. Accurately. What it Takes to Excel as a Senior Account (Requirements): Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar or higher-level role Manufacturing accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and GAAP requirements Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Working knowledge of ERP systems (Syspro experience a plus) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized Willingness to work overtime as needed to support accounting deadlines and audits Drive Financial Accuracy & Business Performance (Job Duties): Support the VP of Finance with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting Prepare and maintain month-end reports, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Reconcile general ledger accounts, including prepaid expenses, inventory, fixed assets, and accrued expenses Analyze actual expenses against the budget and assist department managers in understanding variances Assist in the development and administration of annual budgets and departmental budgets Support quarterly reviews, annual audits, tax audits, and tax return preparation activities Perform balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and budget variance analyses Maintain fixed asset records and reconcile fixed assets to the general ledger Assist with cash forecasting, capital project tracking, and monthly financial reporting Support inventory cycle counts, physical inventories, and related reconciliations Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and accounting procedures Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives Build Your Future with a High-Impact Team (Benefits): Direct Hire opportunity with a stable and growing organization Opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and influence key financial decisions Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, audits, financial reporting, and strategic projects Career growth potential within a dynamic finance organization Collaborative team environment that values accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
